We have just added another 1500 of the crustiest coins we could find on the market!

Size range: 9-19mm. Of course we dont sit down and measure every coin so some may fall outside this range. Yes there are some obvious larger ones in the images but there are very few of those and of course they are quite worn.

What do we mean by crusty? Please browse the photos to see the level of encrustation of these coins. They range from heavily encrusted with no detail and little coin showing at all to semi crusted, coin showing but no detail. Theres a stray coin in there with decent detail but don't panic most should be very well crusted!

Whats the percentage of keepers going to be like? We don't know. If I cant see below the surface of the crud, the digger couldn't see below the surface of the crud so what you discover will be seen for the first time in 1700 years!

Of course being so encrusted a stray Byzantine or Islamic coin may rear itself but that's what makes this type of coin so MUCH FUN!
