Reverse: AΛEΞANΔPOY; Zeus Aëtophoros seated left on throne, nude to the waist, himation around hips and legs, right foot forward, eagle in extended right hand, long scepter vertical behind in left hand; torch in left field. IΘI monogram below throne.

Menander (Ancient Greek: Μένανδρος; fl. 4th century BC) was an officer in the service of Alexander the Great. He was one of those called etairoi, but he held the command of a body of mercenaries.
